What it keeps

ClipDot works out what kind of thing you copied and remembers which app it came from. Search the whole history from the top of the panel, or narrow it to one kind.

Where it appears
A bar along the bottom, or a rail down either side.
One setting changes the panel’s shape. The bottom bar scrolls big cards sideways; the rails stack compact rows. Pick whichever fits how your screen is already arranged.
Bottom bar
The default. Big 240-point cards you scroll sideways, six or seven on screen at once.
Left rail
Compact rows stacked down the edge, with a thumbnail and the source app on each one.
Right rail
The same rail, mirrored — for people who keep their working window on the left.
What you configure
Five settings. One screen.
Set them once and you never need this window again.
- Launch at login — start with macOS
- Language — switches live, no restart
- Hotkey — re-record it to anything
- Panel style — bottom, left rail, right rail
- Max storage — cap the history; oldest clips go first
Auto-paste asks for macOS Accessibility permission. Without it ClipDot still puts the clip back on your clipboard — you just press ⌘V yourself.
